ARS Products designs and manufactures the following equipment types:
Routers, Switch Matrices and Remote Patch Panels – integrated systems that can route (locally or remotely) multiple source signals (antennas, front ends…) to multiple destinations (receivers, modems …). Some architectures allow for the simultaneous distribution to multiple destinations. See the appendix for details.
Beamforming & Beamsteering Networks – sub systems that are used for
manipulating phase and spatial interactions. These units are typically adjacent to an antenna array. Passive variants include beamformers and Butler Matrices. Active variants usually use controllable phase shifters or controllable delay lines.
Multi-Couplers and Distribution Amplifiers – high dynamic range
(low noise, high intercept) amplifiers that are used to drive large down stream
systems. A Multi-Coupler is a Distribution Amplifier (single input) with multiple outputs.
Test Signal & Test Equipment Routing – general purpose switching and calibrated signal manipulation. Also includes controllable attenuators, phase shifters and delay lines.
Receiver Dynamic Range Extensions – specialized front end devices that reduce receiver desensitizing without introducing inter-modulation distortion. These products include frequency programmable notch filters and non-reflective limiters.
ARS Products span the electrical radio spectrum of DC thru 18 GHz.
